Champions League finalists Dortmund ambitious after 'alpha' rebuild

Borussia Dortmund have their sights set on Champions League glory next season after reaching the final of this year's competition.

The German club lost 2-1 to Bayern Munich in the final in Lisbon, but they impressed throughout the tournament and will be confident of going one better next year.

Dortmund have undergone a major rebuild in recent years, with a number of young players coming through the ranks.

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke is confident that the club can challenge for the Champions League title next season.
