Removing the Glove Box

To access the blower motor resistor, you'll first need to remove the glove box. To do this, open the glove box and squeeze the sides inward to release the stops. Then, pull the glove box straight out to remove it.

Locating the Blower Motor Resistor

Once the glove box is removed, you'll be able to see the blower motor resistor. It's located behind the glove box, on the passenger side of the vehicle. It's a small, black box with a few wires connected to it.

Removing the Blower Motor Resistor

To remove the blower motor resistor, you'll need to disconnect the wires connected to it. Once the wires are disconnected, you can remove the screws that hold the resistor in place. Then, you can pull the resistor straight out to remove it.

Installing the New Blower Motor Resistor

To install the new blower motor resistor, simply reverse the steps for removal. First, insert the new resistor into the housing. Then, secure the resistor with the screws. Finally, connect the wires to the resistor.

Testing the Blower Motor Resistor
